DESCRIPTION
Hand woven with a strong, soft warp of baby alpaca, linen and silk. The powerful striped pattern is woven mostly of silk, with a little merino and yak. This scarf is, so far, my most time-consuming piece, taking well over 40 hours to make! This is because of how fine the fibres are and how many individual ends had to be sewn in; two ends for every single colour change. This lightweight but extremely warm piece is finished at each end with a fringe of hand-twisted and knotted tassels.

Size (excluding tassels) 161cm/63.5" long, 37cm/14.5" wide.

COMPOSITION & CARE
Composed of silk, linen and baby alpaca.
Hand-wash in lukewarm water with wool detergent. Alternatively, gently machine wash on a cold wool cycle with a small amount of wool detergent. To dry, lay flat on a large towel and roll up like a Swiss roll, squeezing gently, then complete drying naturally on a clothes airer or washing line. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.
