Organic Seeds - Black Cow Parsley

£3.00

Anthriscus sylvestris

Not a dye plant, but just beautiful! Harvested from my own organic garden.

Similar in appearance to wild cow parsley, but as the plant matures the fernlike leaves turn a beautiful deep purply-black. With tiny white flowers on an umbellifer. This black cow parsley grows to around 4ft tall.

Sow in late autumn or winter in small pots. Keep the pots cool and damp, but protect from frost. Can be slow to germinate. Plant out when large enough to handle. Once established, the plants are very robust and come back every year.

Packets say minimum 50 seeds, but there’s closer to 100 in there!

Silly me, I forgot to take photos of the actual plants in my garden, but a quick google search will give you an idea!

UK sales only due to export restrictions, sorry.
