Hand woven with a strong and resilient warp of 100% Corriedale in a subtle ozone blue with flame-coloured splashes. The weft yarn is entirely hand-spun from undyed 100% merino wool in variegated shades of silver grey. Finished at each end with a fringe of hand-twisted and knotted tassels.

Composed of Corriedale and merino wools.
Hand-wash in lukewarm water with wool detergent. Alternatively, gently machine wash on a cold wool cycle with a small amount of wool detergent. To dry, lay flat on a large towel and roll up like a Swiss roll, squeezing gently, then complete drying naturally on a clothes airer or washing line. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.

Uniformly fine hand-spun yarn is difficult to find in pieces such as this, making this a true heirloom piece.
